The Good

It’s already pre-programmed to answer more than 100 different commands that your child might give it. For example, your child can tell it to step back, move to the left, or walk forward and it will follow.

Is this toy perfect? Of course not, which brings us to the next point.

The Bad

There are two things about the MeccaNoid Personal robot that some people who have actually used it found disappointing. First is the long time it takes to assemble the 600+ pieces of this robot together. And the fact that the instructions are complicated adds to this difficulty. It is recommended for kids 8-10 years old, but for some kids, adult help is definitely needed. 

Second is the very short time that the child is able to play with the robot. This product uses four C batteries, which is bought separately. It is better to use rechargeable batteries. Hopefully, the next version of this robot will come with its rechargeable battery.
